Brian A. McCarroll, M.S., D.O. Medical Director
Dr. Brian McCarroll founded Bio-Med in February of 1999. He is board certified in family practice and certified in addiction medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and is also the current president of the Michigan Association of Methadone Providers. Dr. McCarroll represents all of the methadone providers in the state as a board member of the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is also an international lecturer on pain and addiction, and a consultant to the Attorney General's office, the Board of Pharmacy, and the Drug Enforcement Addiction (DEA). He has been featured on the advisory board for Methadone Today - the official newsletter of Detroit Organizational Needs in Treatment (DONT). Dr. McCarrol is a frequent speaker at medical conferences across the United States regarding drug addiction and has been a guest on multiple local radio and television programs.
